The world's first high-flow and high-efficiency liquid hydrogen pump equipped with a high-temperature superconducting motor has been developed jointly by Kyoshima Manufacturing Co., LTD., and Kyoto University's Graduate School of Engineering. Recently, the operation test of the liquid hydrogen pump has been successful. The efficient mass transportation of liquid hydrogen will help to significantly reduce the cost of hydrogen, a big step toward realizing a hydrogen society.
